Parent’s Day Out
Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

“Behold, children are a gift from the Lord.” Psalm 127:3

Safety We provide a protected environment with proper supervision, sturdy equipment and great facilities.

Health We have a balanced program with rest periods, exercise, and special attention to a clean environment where good hygiene is practiced.

Self-Confidence The staff demonstrates and teaches love, acceptance, security, self-respect, and trust to help the child gain a feeling of self worth and individual recognition of who they are in Christ.

Moral & Spiritual Development We lay a foundation for knowing God’s meaning and purpose in life.

Our Parent’s Day Out program provides a unique ministry to parents who stay at home with their preschoolers. Our program provides parents a few hours away from their children for shopping, doctor appointments, volunteer work, part-time jobs, recreation or involvement in church activities. In today’s society, grandparents and other relatives often live in distant communities and cannot assist young families with child-care responsibilities, so our program provides a support system by insuring quality child care. Our program will not only ensure quality care, but also provide a program in which teachers plan activities to meet the special physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of each child.

Babies: change of clothes, bottles, diapers, wipes, and lunch Toddlers: change of clothes, diapers, wipes lunch 2-5 year olds: change of clothes (diapers, pull-ups, wipes as needed) lunch & rest mat * Please label your child’s name on each item.

We give priority to children who have been in the program. After that siblings of children who were in the program but did not participate in the current year may register. We then do church membership and are open to the public. Once all rooms are full, we begin a waiting list. Please note that our waiting list is refreshed every year and we begin a new one in the spring for our Fall Semester. Please contact our PDO office at the end of February to find out dates of registration for each year.

Each Tuesday and Thursday during the school year from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We follow AISD school closings due to bad weather.
